Project Structure & Process

How do I start a project with House of Karma?

You’ll begin by submitting an intake form or scheduling a discovery call. After we understand your goals, we’ll provide a custom quote, timeline, and contract.

What’s included in a typical project?

A custom scope of work and visual direction

Up to 2–3 rounds of revisions (depending on the service)

Final deliverables in appropriate file formats

Optional add-ons or retainers for ongoing support

Can I request a custom package?

Yes — all of our branding and marketing services are built to fit your needs, whether you’re launching a new product, rebranding, or scaling your online presence.

Payments & Cancellations

What are your payment terms?

All projects require a 25%-50% non-refundable deposit to begin. The remaining balance is due as outlined in the agreement.

Do you offer refunds?

Because all services are custom and time-intensive, we do not offer refunds. However, we’ll work with you to resolve any issues during the active project period.

What happens if I cancel my project?

If a project is canceled after work has begun, the deposit will be retained and additional hours may be billed for work completed up to the cancellation date.

Files, Ownership & LicensingWho owns the files and content you create?

You own the final, approved deliverables once your invoice is fully paid. House of Karma retains the right to showcase the work in our portfolio or social media unless you request otherwise.

Do I get access to editable/source files?

Editable files (e.g., PSD, AI, Figma) are available upon request. Some source files may include an additional licensing fee.

Can I reuse the designs for other purposes?

Yes — your approved final files can be used commercially for your brand. However, altering the work or reselling it without permission is prohibited unless otherwise stated in writing.

Web Design, Hosting & Support

Do you build e-commerce websites?

Yes — we specialize in Shopify, Wix, and WordPress-based e-commerce solutions. We support product setup, variations, SEO basics, and mobile optimization.

Do you offer hosting or domains?

We do not provide hosting directly but will assist you in setting up your domain and hosting with your preferred provider.

Can I update my website after launch?

Yes — you’ll receive documentation or a short training session, and we offer monthly retainers for ongoing website updates, content changes, and tech support.

Content, Fulfillment & Marketing Retainers

Do you offer ongoing support after the project ends?

Yes — we offer monthly retainers that can include content creation, social media management, web updates, ad campaigns, influencer coordination, and email marketing.

Can you help with shipping or fulfillment?

Yes — for product-based businesses, we partner with fulfillment centers to assist with storage, packaging, and shipping logistics. Ask us for a referral if you’re scaling your e-commerce operations.

Can I resell your services or refer clients?
